TheAype / Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 1 October 2026

This policy explains what TheAype collects, what it does not collect, and the choices available to you. It applies to theaype.pro.et and to every tool hosted there.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the TheAype website and the utilities it provides. TheAype does not require an account, and it does not ask you to create a profile, provide a phone number, or sign in to use any tool.

2. Summary

  • Files you select are processed in your browser and are not uploaded to our servers.
  • We do not require accounts, and we do not sell personal data.
  • Advertising is served by Google AdSense, which uses cookies and device identifiers to serve and measure ads.
  • You can clear site data at any time through your browser settings.

3. Client-Side Processing

The core tools on this site run in your web browser using JavaScript running on your own device. When you select a document, image, or other file, the file is read locally through the browser File API. The contents are held in your device's memory for as long as the tool is open.

Files are not transmitted to theaype.pro.et for processing. We do not operate an upload endpoint for these tools. When you close or reload the tab, in-memory data is released. We cannot recover your files, because we never received them.

Any network request a tool makes is limited to retrieving static site assets and, where a tool depends on current reference data, fetching that public data. You can verify this behaviour with your browser's network inspector at any time.

4. Local File Security

Local processing protects confidentiality, but it does not remove your own responsibility for the device you are using. The following practices reduce risk:

  • Keep your operating system, browser, and browser extensions up to date, since file handling happens through browser code.
  • Do not use these tools on a shared or public computer when handling confidential documents.
  • Close the tab when you are done so that file references are released from memory.
  • Do not open downloaded output files on untrusted devices. Anything you save to disk becomes a normal file that you own and must manage.
  • Use the sharing and permission features of your operating system when handing off generated files.

5. Information We Collect

TheAype does not operate accounts and does not knowingly collect personal information such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, or payment details. In the course of normal operation we may see the following technical data:

  • Server request logs. IP address, timestamp, requested URL, HTTP status, user agent, and referrer. These are generated by our hosting provider to deliver pages and to diagnose faults.
  • Diagnostics. Details you include in a support message, such as your browser version and the steps that produced the error.
  • Support correspondence. If you email us, we keep the message so that we can respond and keep a record of the resolution.

Tool inputs, such as invoice line items, salary figures, and Telegram captions, are processed locally and are not transmitted to us. If you include personal data in a support message, it becomes part of that correspondence and is handled under this policy.

6. How We Use Information

Limited technical and support data is used only to:

  • Deliver the site and keep it available.
  • Diagnose errors and fix defects.
  • Respond to support requests.
  • Meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations that apply to our operation.
  • Detect abuse, such as scraping, denial-of-service traffic, or attempts to disrupt the service.

We do not use your activity to build advertising profiles of our own, and we do not share request logs with advertising networks.

7. Cookies and Local Storage

TheAype itself sets no tracking cookies and uses no first-party analytics. Local storage may be used for strictly functional purposes, such as remembering non-sensitive interface preferences on your device.

Cookies placed by Google AdSense are described in the advertising section below. You can reject or delete cookies through your browser settings, and clearing site data for theaype.pro.et removes functional local storage as well. Because the tools are client-side, rejecting cookies does not remove tool functionality.

8. Advertising and Google AdSense

This site uses Google AdSense to display advertising. Google, as a third party, uses cookies and device identifiers to serve and measure ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this and other sites.
  • You may opt out of personalised advertising through Google Ads Settings .
  • You can opt out of third-party vendor cookies through aboutads.info , or through Your Online Choices .
  • For visitors in the EU, UK, and EEA, a consent message is presented before personalised ads are served.

Advertising partners may process data under their own privacy policies, which we do not control. See How Google uses data from partner sites .

9. Third-Party Services

Our hosting provider processes request data to serve this site on our behalf. We do not embed social media widgets, chat widgets, or third-party trackers. Links to external sites, including payment providers referenced in the invoicing tools, are governed by those providers' own policies once you leave theaype.pro.et.

10. Data Retention

Server logs are retained for a short operational period and are then deleted or anonymised. Support correspondence is retained only as long as needed to resolve the issue and to keep a record of the resolution, after which it is deleted. Local tool data leaves memory when you close or reload the page.

11. Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Because file processing is client-side, document contents never pass through our infrastructure, which removes the largest category of risk for the tools themselves. No system is perfectly secure: our hosting and provider accounts are protected with standard access controls, and we apply updates as they become available.

12. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal data relating to you, and to object to processing or complain to a supervisory authority. We hold very limited data, so most requests concern support emails or server logs. To make a request, email us from the address you want action taken on so that we can verify it, and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

13. Children's Privacy

The site is not directed at children under 13, or under the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in the site, our advertising arrangements, or the law. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.

15. Contact
