Smart Image Compressor & WebP Studio

Drop a batch of JPEG, PNG, WebP, or GIF files, set the quality, and watch the size fall as you move the slider. Switch the output to WebP for the smallest result, resize by a percentage or a pixel bound, and compare the original against the compressed image before you keep anything. Every file is decoded and re-encoded on your device.

Runs in your browser Canvas based No upload

Your images are never uploaded. Each file is decoded into a canvas in this tab and re-encoded there, so photos and logos stay on your machine.

Compression controls

Pick a target format and a size, set the quality, then add your images. Every image is re-encoded each time a setting changes, so the sizes you see stay honest.

WebP is usually the smallest and still keeps transparency. JPEG has no transparency, and PNG is lossless, so the quality slider does nothing to it.

Resizing is where the biggest savings come from. Aspect ratio is always preserved and images are never scaled up.

Getting the best result

Choosing settings

  • For photographs, WebP at 75 to 85 percent quality usually matches JPEG at a smaller size.
  • Keep PNG for logos and screenshots with sharp edges or transparency. Switching a PNG to WebP is the reliable way to shrink it.
  • Re-encoding is lossy, so compress from the original each time. Re-compressing an already compressed file stacks the damage.
  • The ZIP contains every compressed file at once. If a browser blocks the archive script, the files download one by one instead.
  • Only your settings are remembered: the format, quality, and dimension option. Images are never saved.
